LCSH and FAST are, among other controlled vocabularies, are used to assist in the description of items. In this assignment, I outlined my process of assigning FAST and LCSH subject headings to a book, employing a careful analysis of the subject matter of the book.

In this assignment, I outlined my process of assigning Dewey and Library of Congress call numbers to a book, providing a detailed practical description of all the steps taken.

This artifact is a finding aid for a collection of personal records. I created it using ArchivesSpace, a widely used product by LYRASIS, using best practices in the archives and special collections profession.
